Based on the traditional African machete (a knife, 581,000 of which were imported into Rwanda before the genocide in 1994) the makers created a futurist model with video images and computer-game graphics. The shocking images that were recorded during the genocide have been combined with computer-game animation, in an attempt to make the vicious circle of gruesome violence tangible.
