Feng and May don’t find it easy to bring up their little boy, but they are really still children themselves. When Feng is sacked on his son’s birthday, a lot of problems arise.The film has been described as an intimate work that is not a euphemism. Like a bloodsucker, the film lodges itself in the everyday imperfections within a teenage marriage. Hidden irritations are revealed, but a sensitive mood remains, however fragile it may be. (GjZ)
