The remains of a propaganda film against anti-Semitism. We know the story well enough to fill in the gaps. An extra dimension of analogue allure comes courtesy of the emulsion’s deterioration. Time lends this work a modernity it never had in this shape and tone. Inou Ki Endo’s music congenially adds more.
