When 17-year-old Christy gets kicked out of his foster home, he moves in with his estranged brother Shane, who lives in a working-class neighbourhood in Cork. What was supposed to be a temporary solution soon feels like a new start for Christy. He makes new friends and becomes part of the local community, but keeps being haunted by his family history. Eventually, the brothers must face their past and decide on their future.
